Open and resume work
- Choose Command Center in the sidebar, or press Cmd+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on Windows.
- Inspect active session states. A task waiting for approval needs a decision; a recent completed task may only need review.
- Open the relevant session to read its latest activity and result.
- Use Quick actions → New session, Open folder, or Resume last for the next step.
Resume last is unavailable when there is no recent session. Opening a task for review is not proof that a new provider run has begun; inspect its composer and activity state.
Inspect worktree relationships
The Worktrees section groups repositories and distinguishes the Primary checkout, Rudr worktrees, Other linked worktrees, Detached worktrees, and Stale worktrees where present.
These categories help locate the actual checkout behind a task. A linked worktree may have been created outside Rudr. A stale entry can describe missing or outdated worktree metadata; it is not permission to discard files. Confirm the path and Git state before making cleanup decisions.
If the expected task is absent
Check whether the session is archived or organized under a different sidebar group. Use session organization to find older work. For an inaccessible checkout, open workspace troubleshooting.
The desktop Cmd/Ctrl+K shortcut opens Command Center. It is not the documentation website’s search shortcut. Worktree defaults and cleanup preferences live in Settings → Worktrees.
