Desktop release artifacts
The verified v0.34.0 alpha release, published September 6, 2026, provides Mac arm64 and x64 DMGs. It has no Windows binary. The website’s Downloads button opens GitHub releases. Use the actual release assets and notes for current availability. Windows arm64 and Linux are not verified public Rudr downloads in this documentation set.
Provider CLI support for Linux, WSL, or another architecture is separate from desktop Rudr distribution. Minimum OS versions and native walkthroughs remain unverified here.

Session and workspace boundaries
Existing-session provider continuation supports Claude Code ↔ Codex between runs. It creates a linked destination with bounded context and does not move a running process, native memory, or all checkpoints.
Native compaction, rewind, fork, steering, and questions are version/capability dependent. Claude native budget enforcement is API-route and version qualified; Codex estimated stopping can overshoot. File restoration covers eligible verified edits, not all shell or repository changes.
Manual Browser use and agent tools differ. Agent tools are off by default and limited to local previews. Chat, Side chat, voice, dictation, and images can use separate API connections from external Code subscriptions.
